Too many things I want to do. Seriously! Tonight, I want to write some insights on my “physics & maths blog”, and I want to write a spec for the software I’m writing. I also want to install some code testing continuous build modules, and additionally, I want to go to bed before midnight so I don’t start the week totally shattered.
The likelihood is that in the three hours I’ve got left to squeeze in these three eight-hour projects, the kids will wake at least once, and need consoling or feeding, or both.
It is no wonder I’m so tired most of the time.

Yeah. That seemed like the simplest answer to the problem of prioritising. At least I’m writing something! :).
Seriously though, what’s really going on is that I’m bemoaning the fact that I’ve lost touch with some of the things that really drive me. Work and family (mainly work these days) consume most of my thought space, and I’m finding it hard to find the energy to reengage. That, and it takes me quite a lot of time to write anything sensible.
Yeah don’t worry small kids will do that it gets better once they sleep and stuff :-)
Yeah :). It will help when they’re not ill too. :)
So, the little one has just gone back to sleep, and I’ve just remembered that the accounts need doing! Other things will have to wait until next week.
